I am a programmer that loves developing games, as a young gamer I always wondered how it was to work and design my own game, and here I am today. My biggest interest is creating well designed systems and user experiences. I enjoy building the whole system behind the UI as can be seen in some of the projects I’ve worked on (Skill Tree in Salt and Ink and Shop System for example).
I can get very heavily invested in work I do as I personally enjoy delivering a product I’m proud of and would as a gamer enjoy using. I decided to study in FutureGames as I knew the education would give me many opportunities to work in groups (game projects) and as I expected, it has helped me excel and improve a lot in a short time span.
I’ve worked mainly in C# and C++ as it’s the most commonly used languages in game development but I have also worked a lot with HTML and CSS as well as Unity’s adaptation of it known as UXML and USS for designing UI with the new UIBuilder. I’ve also worked with different engines and frameworks like Unity, Unreal and SDL, Monogame for smaller individual projects.
In most of the projects I worked in I’ve had a leading role in code design architecture as I think it is very important that everyone in the group communicates and understands that the code written has to work well with others and be easily understood and modified, therefor I find a great interest in writing reusable and scalable code.
